Day Five-sixty-seven: the big reveal

As with any good magician we have a big finish that makes you think, "Of course, that seems so simple now." We'd think that too if it weren't for the 3 rounds of sanding and 4 layers of varnish we applied this weekend. However, we are very pleased with the result.

The new transition from new to old is almost seamless.

The two pieces each look good on their own.

But in this case the whole is indeed greater than the sum of the parts.
