Day Eight-fifty-six: armoire complete

Didn't mean to leave that cliffhanger so long. In our last post we had much of the doors of the armoire ready for finishing. The entire piece needed to be repainted to change from yellow to the same off-white (called Pacer White by Sherwin Williams) as the dresser and the bookshelf we converted from Ikea.

The frames and inside panels for the doors also needed to be painted, with the frames done in Pacer White and the panels matching the drawer fronts of the dresser.

With all the components done we needed to attach the hinges and handles to turn this...

into this...

And now the set (which was never a set but now looks like one) is complete.
